About the position

The Princeton Review is seeking a highly qualified Chief of Staff to collaborate closely with our CEO and senior leadership team. This pivotal role is designed to enhance productivity by streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and effectively communicating objectives across departments. The Chief of Staff will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, ensuring that their time, information, and decision-making processes are utilized effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in business management, particularly in executive-level advising and fostering interdepartmental collaboration. In this role, the Chief of Staff will guide interactions, projects, and goals between the CEO and the senior leadership team, ensuring that they remain on track and continue to move forward. This position will serve as an integrator, connecting various work streams among senior leadership members. Timely communication is crucial, and the Chief of Staff will ensure that necessary information flows between the CEO, the senior leadership team, and the organization as a whole. Additionally, the Chief of Staff will provide valuable input and advice on various issues, projects, and goals across the senior leadership team, while also researching and recommending new and revised policies and strategies as needed. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for creating and maintaining systems and processes that streamline operations, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization. As a member of the senior leadership team, this individual will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of The Princeton Review and ensuring that the organization meets its objectives. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the CEO and the leadership team in their efforts to drive the company forward.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline strategic initiatives and oversee program management for the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Guide interactions, projects, and goals between the CEO and senior leadership team to ensure progress.
  • Act as an integrator connecting work streams between members of the senior leadership team.
  • Ensure timely communication between the CEO, senior leadership team, and the organization as a whole.
  • Provide input and advice on issues, projects, and goals across the senior leadership team.
  • Research and recommend new and revised policies and strategies as needed.
  • Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Serve as a member of the senior leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or a similar field preferred.
  • 7+ years' experience in a business management role.
  • Experience in data analysis and budget management.
  • Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management.
  • Proven success in a project coordination role.
  • Strong communication skills to all levels of employees and across organizations.
  • Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions.
  • Strong project-reporting skills.
