About the position

The Chief of Staff (CoS) at Pregnancy Justice plays a crucial role in advising and coordinating key functions and projects within the organization during a pivotal moment in the reproductive justice movement. As a member of the Leadership Team, the CoS oversees operations and administration, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various departments. This position serves as a bridge between the leadership team and other stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives and fostering a collaborative workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor and coordinator for key functions and projects.
  • Oversee operations and administration, ensuring effective communication across departments.
  • Serve as a bridge for communication between the leadership team and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in leadership decision-making processes by gathering and analyzing information.
  • Lead the planning and execution of organization-wide meetings and events.
  • Drive or manage a variety of short-term and long-term projects across all departments.
  • Oversee meeting and committee preparation for the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and implement systems and protocols for high-functioning organizational performance.
  • Plan staff meeting agendas and reinforce organizational culture and values.
  • Create an internal communications strategy and calendar.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in business management, corporate or general counsel, and/or strategic operations.
  • Master's in business administration, Juris Doctor, or other advanced degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing, developing, and championing staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge and experience working with anti-discrimination protections in employment.
  • Knowledge and awareness of diversity and inclusion best practices.
  • Certificate in Project Management.
