About the position

The Chief of Staff will support the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in overseeing the entire revenue cycle of DTN. This role is critical in driving operational efficiency, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring the smooth execution of revenue-generating initiatives across various departments including marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer success. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CCO, providing high-level strategic insights and supporting the development and execution of key revenue growth initiatives.
  • Help translate the CCO's vision and strategy into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across all revenue-driving teams.
  • Track progress on strategic objectives and provide regular updates to the CCO and executive leadership.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the revenue organization to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the CCO and senior leadership to streamline processes, improve workflows, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Assist in the creation and management of revenue dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and regular performance reviews.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that impact marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer success, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish clear project timelines, manage resources, and communicate with stakeholders to keep initiatives on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
  • Serve as the primary communication liaison between the CCO and various teams, ensuring the efficient flow of information across the organization.
  • Organize and lead regular leadership meetings, ensuring alignment between the CCO and senior leaders in marketing, sales, enablement, customer success, and partnerships.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and briefings for the CCO to present to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including department heads, strategic partners, and key clients.
  • Facilitate collaboration between different departments, ensuring alignment of priorities and goals.
  • Represent the CCO in key meetings, as needed, ensuring actions are documented and executed.
  • Lead or support special projects and initiatives as directed by the CCO, including market expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and new product launches.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the CCO, including research, analysis, and preparation of materials for high-level meetings and discussions.
  • Assist the CCO in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning for the revenue organization.
  • Track and manage the allocation of resources to key initiatives, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Chief of Staff, senior project management, or business operations role, ideally supporting C-level executives.
  • Strong understanding of revenue functions, including marketing, sales, enablement, partnerships, and customer success.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, develop insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong business acumen and experience working in high-growth, mid-to-large organizations.
  • Experience with SaaS or technology-driven business models.
