About the position

The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Vice President of Cisco's Core ASIC Group (CAG) by driving critical initiatives related to organizational transformation, budget management, and workforce planning. This position requires collaboration across various functions and business partners to implement an efficient operating model and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Vice President of CAG to drive critical initiatives such as organization transformation, budget and workforce planning, and site strategy.
  • Support the SVP's vision of organizational transformation including workforce strategy planning, hiring & resource planning, and site strategy.
  • Collaborate with Finance and CHG Operations for budget management, resource planning, and annual planning.
  • Work with P&C to organize and drive talent review and reward cycles.
  • Facilitate planning processes and manage deliverables needed from the Common Hardware Group.
  • Engage at all levels of the organization to develop trust and drive active discussions.
  • Facilitate meetings with senior executives and manage agenda items.
  • Plan and execute a robust internal communications strategy and employee engagement activities with the CHG Communications leader.
  • Represent CAG in appropriate cross-functional forums.
  • Provide counsel and planning assistance to the SVP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education.
  • 15+ years of progressive work experience in engineering, operations, or program management.
  • 3+ years of experience operating as a Chief of Staff or in a similar role.
  • Experience with PowerPoint or other slideware presentation tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with the Common Hardware Group and Cisco Networking.
  • Familiarity with Cisco's hardware development lifecycle process.
  • Familiarity with the semiconductor industry.
