About the position

The Chief of Staff role at Lumen is designed for a motivated and adaptable individual who will support the SVP Product Segments in executing defined priorities. This position acts as a problem solver, communicator, and facilitator within the Product Segments organization, ensuring alignment and streamlining activities. The Chief of Staff will collaborate with key ecosystem partners and stay informed on industry trends to drive product excellence and provide a data-driven experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize data from various sources including customer feedback, financial reports, and market research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and support.
  • Build and maintain slide decks, reports, and dashboards for senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR on workforce planning and organizational structure management.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the SVP's direct reports and staff members.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape for product segments.
  • Prepare the SVP for external and internal meetings, managing necessary prep calls and materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate organizational performance and contribute to new process development.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for non-routine communication and budgetary requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred; a master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or Chief of Staff role, preferably in Technology or Telecommunications industries.
  • High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and adaptability.
  • Proven track record of translating executive priorities into actionable plans.
  • Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for products, technology, and innovation with a customer-obsessed mindset.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder management situations.
  • Attention to detail across a broad range of contexts.
  • Experience with Business Operations and Planning, Business Transformation, or Management Consulting is a plus.
