About the position

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) and EOS Integrator at Travis Watkins Tax is a strategic leadership role responsible for executing business plans, achieving P&L objectives, and ensuring the organization operates cohesively. The COO will lead the executive team, address challenges, and capitalize on opportunities while fostering a healthy organizational culture aligned with the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Being a culture carrier by enabling/supporting employee engagement and retention
  • Support the long-term growth of Travis Watkins Tax and have far-reaching responsibility within the organization
  • Oversee the daily operations and adjust as necessary, ensuring the organization is consistently 'rowing' together in the same direction
  • Execute the business plan, achieving or exceeding established P&L objectives
  • Collaborate and stay on the same page with the Visionary, translating ideas into functional plans for the company
  • Effectively resolve issues, comfortable with conflict, addressing issues, and solving problems in a practical and healthy manner
  • Lead, manage and hold direct reports accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments
  • Demonstrate a passion for values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity across the organization

Requirements

  • Proven results as a Chief Operating Officer, or a similarly relevant role reporting to the Visionary
  • Experience building high performing teams, including the ability to recognize and cultivate rising talent
  • Adept at transitioning seamlessly from a strategic level vision to day-to-day tactical operations
  • Experience with Agent Marketing Organizations (MLM's)
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • A demonstrated execution mindset and a record of success holding people accountable
  • Understanding of an ability to create a healthy organization culture
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Advanced degree, MBA or similar, preferred
