About the position

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Workplace Management at JLL is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency, strategic growth, and innovation of the Workplace Management division. The COO will ensure exceptional value delivery to clients while driving business performance and aligning operational goals with company objectives and market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global operational strategies for the Workplace Management sub-business line through strong collaboration and influence.
  • Align operational goals with overall company objectives and market trends.
  • Drive innovation in Workplace Management to meet evolving client needs.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in service delivery across Work Dynamics.
  • Optimize global Workplace Management processes, systems, and practices to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Implement best practices and standardize operations across regions in partnership with WPM senior leadership.
  • Develop and grow strategic relationships with key stakeholders including Division Presidents and key clients.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to drive growth and new business opportunities across Work Dynamics.
  • Drive profitable growth and cost optimization within the Workplace Management division.
  • Develop and monitor key objectives and performance metrics for the WPM sub-business line.
  • Analyze financial data and trends in partnership with Finance to inform operational decision making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of workplace management professionals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Attract and retain top talent in the industry and support career development and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Implement risk management strategies to protect the company and clients.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of business continuity plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, preferably within workplace management or real estate services.
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills with a track record of driving operational excellence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in driving profitable growth and cost optimization.
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
