About the position

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio (VNAO) is a transformative leadership role focused on enhancing Home Health and Hospice services. The COO will drive strategic direction, oversee clinical service delivery, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence, ultimately impacting patient care, employee engagement, and organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operations and strategic planning for VNAO Homecare, Hospice, and Specialized Care, ensuring exceptional care delivery across all programs.
• Manage budgets and financial performance, driving efficiencies and value within our services.
• Design and implement initiatives that elevate service quality and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Lead critical initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and the launch of new programs, to propel VNA Health Group forward.
• Inspire and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes engagement and professional development.

Requirements

• Licensed clinician (RN, PT, OT, SLP) with a Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years in community health or hospice, with significant leadership experience.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to exceptional service.
