About the position

The New Jersey Coalition to End Homelessness (NJCEH) is seeking a candidate to ensure operational excellence within the organization. This role focuses on increasing productivity, efficiency, and financial security while advising the CEO on operational insights and coaching employees. The position is crucial for forming and enacting programs and lobbying efforts aimed at eradicating homelessness in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy
• Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
• Identify new opportunities to accelerate impact on reducing homelessness
• Present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO based on market research
• Work with CEO to create, drive and maximize impact on the primary mission to end homelessness
• Responsible for everyday operations including hands-on projects as needed
• Build relationships with other state Coalitions to enhance and magnify impact by building on each other's successes and learnings.

Requirements

• Executive experience in non-profit / social service sector
• Strategic planning and business development experience
• A passion for preventing and ending homelessness
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
