About the position

Utah First Credit Union is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the credit union's service delivery platforms, including branch operations, payment systems, digital banking, personal banking, and HR. The COO will report directly to the CEO and will play a crucial role in developing strategic plans and budgets while ensuring the organization lives its mission to be significant in the lives of its members, employees, and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the credit union's service delivery platforms.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and budgets in collaboration with the Executive Team.
  • Oversee branch operations, payment systems, digital banking, personal banking, and HR functions.
  • Ensure alignment with the credit union's mission and values in all operations.
  • Manage and mentor high-level managers within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of executive management experience in retail financial services delivery.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit union leadership, including managing high-level managers.
