The COO position at HomeSafe involves the administrative oversight and quality performance of the organization's programs and assigned administrative/support departments. The COO will participate as a member of the Executive and Management teams in providing leadership to meet the objectives of the organization's strategic plan. This role includes providing leadership and guidance to department directors overseeing residential, clinical, and community-based programs, ensuring program sustainability through strategic planning and sound fiscal management practices. The COO will also train, supervise, and evaluate direct reports, establishing performance goals and development plans. Additionally, the position requires overseeing contract management, including agreement reviews, compliance reporting, and data collection, as well as leading Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) efforts to ensure alignment with licensing, regulatory, and organizational standards. The COO will design and implement organizational policies and procedures that meet contractual and accreditation requirements, collaborate on grant proposals, and monitor data reporting for accuracy and effectiveness. The role also involves exploring and leading the implementation of new programs and service expansions to support organizational growth, overseeing efforts to obtain and maintain licensing requirements, serving as HIPAA Privacy Officer, and providing executive-level leadership and support in the absence of the CEO.
