About the position

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) is a visionary leader responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of the Authority's iconic facilities, including the Georgia World Congress Center, Centennial Olympic Park, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, sustainability, and innovative strategies to enhance guest experiences and ensure fiscal health while building a dynamic workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and development of the GWCCA's 200-acre campus.
• Drive operational excellence and sustainability initiatives.
• Implement innovative strategies to enhance guest experiences.
• Ensure fiscal health of the Authority's operations.
• Foster partnerships with customers, local and state agencies, and community organizations.
• Collaborate with the CEO to implement the Authority's long-term strategic vision.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role.
• Strong understanding of large-scale venue operations and event management.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and sustainability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
