About the position

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the ongoing operations and procedures of a rapidly growing tech startup focused on revolutionizing how coaches interact with students. This role is pivotal in executing strategic initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and driving sustainable growth within the company. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to ensure alignment with business goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's operational strategy in alignment with overarching business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the entire team, including Tech Development, Marketing, Rev Ops, Distribution, Partnerships and other functional areas as needed.
  • Drive efficiency and scalability across all operational processes to support the company's growth trajectory.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure effective communication and alignment on operational priorities.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, implementing improvements and new strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the CEO and board of directors on operational matters.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or similar leadership role in a high-growth startup or tech company.
  • Strong understanding of operational functions, including Tech Development, Marketing, Strategic Planning, and Rev Ops.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach and willingness to roll up sleeves as needed.
  • Background in growing early stage tech companies.
  • Advanced degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
