Concentric Corporation is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and manage the operational functions of the organization in Omaha, NE. The COO will be responsible for the planning and development of the organization's operational objectives and initiatives, ensuring that both short- and long-term financial and mission-critical operational goals are met. This role requires a strategic leader who can develop and oversee the execution of plans that will drive sustainable growth while minimizing risk. The COO will also be tasked with developing operating budgets and establishing effective operational policies and procedures that align with the corporate vision and strategy. In this position, the COO will serve as a key executive, updating and driving the execution of strategies that create value, track performance, and report directly to the CEO. Collaboration with directors, finance teams, and the CEO will be essential to support the company's operational functions. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in maintenance and operations within a fast-paced nationwide company, demonstrating strong analytical and process-oriented skills to drive efficiencies and streamline decision-making processes. The COO will develop both short-term and long-term operational goals to assist in the company's growth, monitor the performance of various regions, and manage the company's P&L. Building and expanding relationships with clients will be a critical aspect of this role, as will setting clear goals and objectives for each operating unit and effectively communicating these to all managers. The COO will be expected to drive the company to surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business objectives, identifying and developing strategies to leverage new market opportunities based on existing capabilities. Additionally, the COO will report accurately on performance relative to established goals and key performance indicators, leveraging technology to maximize efficiency, service levels, and profitability. This role will also involve mentoring and coaching team members, fostering internal team building for sustainable growth, and understanding the necessary structure and processes required to drive success in larger service organizations. The position requires travel, estimated at 30% or more.
