About the position

Cornerstone of Recovery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the ongoing operations and strategic direction of our substance abuse facility. The COO will play a crucial role in driving our mission forward, implementing operational strategies, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our treatment programs. This position requires a leader who can navigate the complexities of healthcare operations, particularly in the substance abuse treatment sector, and who is committed to enhancing patient care through innovative operational practices. In this role, the COO will develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and initiatives specific to substance abuse treatment to enhance patient care and facility operations. The successful candidate will lead change management initiatives to improve operational efficiency and adapt to evolving regulatory and treatment standards. Additionally, the COO will oversee business development activities focused on expanding our services and outreach within the substance abuse treatment community. The COO will drive continuous improvement efforts across all departments to optimize processes and enhance the quality of care provided. This includes managing budgeting processes and financial performance to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainable growth. The COO will provide senior leadership by supervising department heads, setting strategic goals, and monitoring performance metrics related to patient outcomes and operational efficiencies. Furthermore, the COO will analyze industry trends, utilize data-driven insights, and make strategic decisions to enhance the effectiveness of treatment programs. Leading project management efforts to execute key initiatives aimed at improving patient care and operational excellence within the facility will also be a critical aspect of this role. The COO will direct daily operations management activities to achieve organizational goals and maintain high standards of care and compliance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven track record in senior leadership roles within healthcare operations, preferably in substance abuse treatment or related fields.
• Strong expertise in change management, business development, process improvement, budgeting, and project management.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams effectively in a clinical setting.
