About the position

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in the launch and growth of an Internet Start-Up, focusing on developing the enterprise vision and managing organizational development. This position is designed for a creative partner rather than a traditional employee, emphasizing leadership and innovative thinking. The COO will work closely with the Founder/CEO to establish a Web B2C service, with plans for B2B channels and international expansion in the first year. This role is an equity opportunity, requiring a commitment of 15 hours per week without a salary during the early start-up phase.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Founder/CEO to develop the enterprise vision.
• Manage organizational development and growth strategies.
• Lead the launch of the Web B2C service and subsequent B2B channels.
• Foster a creative and innovative environment within the organization.
• Negotiate role and commitment details with the Founder.

Requirements

• Strong technology development management experience.
• Experience in turnaround and/or start-up environments.
• Knowledge of core disciplines such as finance and marketing.
• Management experience is prioritized over formal education, though an MBA is a plus.
• Ability to adapt in an evolving creative environment.
