About the position

The position involves managing a medical practice with a focus on operational excellence. The ideal candidate will work to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability while advising owners on operational insights and coaching employees and managerial associates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Strategic Planning annually and create operational plan/budget based on findings
• Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
• Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
• Present operational strategy recommendations based on your market research

Requirements

• 5+ years of managerial experience in healthcare required, ophthalmology a plus
• Strategic planning and business development experience
• Strong written and verbal and presentation skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10 codes
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, FMLA, DOL, SDS and other healthcare specific regulations
• Human resource expertise and the ability to lead through change required
• Facilities management experience with knowledge in contract negotiations and project management
• Inventory tracking, budgeting and forecasting experience needed
