Responsibilities

  • Serve as the organization's next Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (COO).
  • Play a key role in the successful implementation of the strategic plan.
  • Oversee areas including cardiovascular services, imaging, cancer services, lab, inpatient rehab, and inpatient psych.
  • Partner closely with the senior team to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Lead and drive operational efficiencies and performance improvement across UNC Nash.
  • Advance a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and executive colleagues to identify opportunities for community health improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive operational leadership experience in a hospital or health system recognized for exemplary quality, growth, and sustained financial strength.
  • Experience in a multi-site environment is preferred.
  • Passion for rural healthcare and willingness to engage in population health strategies.
  • Experience building internal and external partnerships and engaging with board members.
  • Ability to be viewed as a system thinker.
