Responsibilities
- Serve as the organization's next Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (COO).
- Play a key role in the successful implementation of the strategic plan.
- Oversee areas including cardiovascular services, imaging, cancer services, lab, inpatient rehab, and inpatient psych.
- Partner closely with the senior team to improve operational and financial performance.
- Lead and drive operational efficiencies and performance improvement across UNC Nash.
- Advance a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Collaborate with medical staff and executive colleagues to identify opportunities for community health improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive operational leadership experience in a hospital or health system recognized for exemplary quality, growth, and sustained financial strength.
- Experience in a multi-site environment is preferred.
- Passion for rural healthcare and willingness to engage in population health strategies.
- Experience building internal and external partnerships and engaging with board members.
- Ability to be viewed as a system thinker.
