About the position

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Golf Live, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's ongoing operations and procedures. This position is designed for an experienced leader who can work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to execute the company's strategic initiatives, optimize operational processes, and drive sustainable growth. Golf Live is a dynamic and rapidly growing tech startup that has patented its Live Replay and Recording technology, and is currently scaling its tech globally. The company offers a complete turn-key solution for coaches, including scheduling, payment processing, live video, video annotation, full-length recordings, membership/package plans, and a marketplace ecosystem. The role requires a fast-paced individual who can pivot quickly in a rapidly changing environment. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's operational strategy in alignment with overarching business goals and objectives. You will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the entire team, which includes Tech Development, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Distribution, Partnerships, and other functional areas as needed. Your focus will be on driving efficiency and scalability across all operational processes to support the company's growth trajectory. Collaboration with department heads will be essential to ensure effective communication and alignment on operational priorities. You will also monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, implementing improvements and new strategies as necessary. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence throughout the organization will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers. Providing strategic guidance and support to the CEO and board of directors on operational matters will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, sales strategy, and financial oversight, preferably within the tech and golf industry.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or similar leadership role in a high-growth startup or tech company.
  • Strong understanding of operational functions, including Tech Development, Marketing, Strategic Planning, and Rev Ops.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach and willingness to roll up sleeves as needed.
  • Background in growing early stage tech companies.
  • Advanced degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred.
