About the position

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide leadership and oversee the daily operations of a technology services company. This role focuses on developing operational strategies, managing business processes, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, operational management, and business development skills, with a proven track record in driving performance and operational excellence in a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize operational strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by streamlining processes and driving efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to support organizational growth.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of technology and software solutions, such as Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ensure operational processes are enhanced through effective technology use and innovation.
  • Provide on-site leadership and direction for team members, including recruitment, training, and development.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment between teams and company objectives.
  • Cultivate strong collaboration across engineering, IT support, and customer service departments.
  • Support business development efforts by aligning operational capabilities with growth opportunities.
  • Monitor financial performance, optimize costs, and ensure operational adherence to the budget.
  • Identify risks and ensure the company meets regulatory and industry standards, including data privacy and cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and partners to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to support long-term business objectives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in management and business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the Information Technology & Services industry.
  • Proven experience overseeing day-to-day operations, team management, and operational process optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with experience in selecting and implementing technology solutions for operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster a high-performance culture, and drive operational success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in start-up or high-growth environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and compliance in the IT industry.
  • Hands-on experience with process automation tools or implementing enterprise-level systems.
