The Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Yankton Medical Clinic, PC is a pivotal role that requires a dynamic leader to oversee the daily operations of the clinic. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, with the expectation of rotating Saturday mornings. The COO will be an integral member of the administrative team, responsible for coordinating and evaluating the operations of various departments within the clinic. This role demands a strategic thinker who can effectively manage resources, streamline processes, and enhance the overall efficiency of the clinic's operations. The COO will also play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative environment among staff, ensuring that patient care remains the top priority while adhering to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business management, accounting, or finance, and will be adept at navigating the complexities of healthcare administration. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate day-to-day operations of several departments within the clinic.
• Function as a member of the administrative team to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA rules and regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Foster strong interpersonal relationships with staff, patients, and external agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience in business management, accounting, or finance.
• Four-year degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or computer/information science; master's degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, public, and external agencies.
• Understanding of the need for discretion regarding clinic operations and patient information.
