Your strategic leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the company's overall growth and success. You will also be charged with guiding the company's workflow strategy, which includes reviewing the efficiency of current business functions, planning changes and updates to day-to-day operations, and collaborating with other executive staff to set and meet business objectives. This position will assist in compiling the company's budget and employ strategies to safeguard assets. In terms of strategic planning, you will collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives to develop long-term strategic plans, translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives. Monitoring industry trends and the competitive landscape will be essential to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Operational oversight will involve directing and overseeing all operational power and gas activities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. You will develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to streamline processes and improve productivity, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance. As a leader, you will mentor a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to ensure professional development and growth while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous learning throughout the organization. Financial management will require you to work closely with the CFO to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to ensure profitability. You will also identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement. Cross-functional collaboration is key, as you will foster communication across departments to promote a cohesive and integrated approach to operations. Partnering with department heads will align operational activities with strategic objectives, while resolving conflicts and addressing operational challenges in a timely and effective manner. Risk management will involve identifying and mitigating operational risks to protect the organization's assets and reputation, developing and implementing business continuity plans to ensure resilience in the face of disruptions, and staying informed about regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the organization's operations. In maintenance management, you will develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of assets, coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime, and oversee the evaluation and procurement of necessary spare parts and equipment to support maintenance activities. Stakeholder engagement will require you to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers, representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote its interests and enhance its visibility. You will act as a spokesperson for the organization, communicating its mission, values, and achievements to internal and external audiences.
