About the position

The Chief People Officer and Executive Vice-President, People & Talent is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources within the organization. This position focuses on developing and executing HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives, fostering a culture of employee engagement, and managing talent acquisition, development, and retention. The role also emphasizes the importance of diversity and inclusion in talent management and requires a strong commitment to compliance and governance in HR practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in all HR areas including talent acquisition, management, learning and development, compensation, benefits, labor, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the organization's business plan.
  • Champion a high-performing culture and ensure continuous workforce development.
  • Drive a comprehensive talent management system that integrates diversity and inclusion programs.
  • Oversee the execution of a talent strategy to meet current and future business needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and provide strategic leadership to the HR function.
  • Enhance the People and Talent teams' ability to drive compliance, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of HR experience at the enterprise level.
  • At least 5 years in an executive HR role.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading HR at the enterprise level.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
