About the position

The Chief People Officer at Maine Seacoast Mission is responsible for leading the EdGE Primary Youth Development Coordinator team, focusing on delivering educational, leadership, and mentoring activities for youth and adults. This role emphasizes personal and professional development through outdoor programs, particularly for K-8 students, and supports various Mission initiatives, including Service Tours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mission Downeast education and leadership activities for youth and adults.
• Facilitate experiential and mentoring programs primarily for K-8 students.
• Support school day, afterschool programs, and summer camps using Cherryfield campus facilities.
• Utilize the Challenge Course for educational and leadership activities.
• Collaborate with other Mission initiatives, including Service Tours.

Requirements

• Experience in mentoring-based methods and programs.
• Outdoor leadership experience, specifically with ropes or challenge course training.
