About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and seven years of experience in Engineering or related field, including lead or supervisory experience, OR a Master's degree in Engineering and five years of experience with similar qualifications.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to research and analyze complex information and draw valid conclusions.
• Skilled in managing large/complex engineering projects.
• Ability to develop awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Skilled in supervising, evaluating, training, and motivating employees.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, manage, and evaluate designated engineering projects and programs.
• Supervise, enhance, and monitor designated engineering practices for the site.
• Report environmental compliance issues and recommend corrections to management.
• Supervise or review investigations and develop recommendations for engineering projects.
• Serve as Project Manager or technical expert on large/complex engineering projects.
• Provide guidance to site management on applicable programs and regulations.
• Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for services and equipment.
• Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for engineering areas.
• Represent the site on company-sponsored steering teams.
