About the position

The Chief Revenue Officer is primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state laws regarding the reporting, accounting, billing, and collection of contracts and grants for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), overseeing significant federal revenue operations, and providing technical guidance to accounting staff while managing multi-million dollar revenue streams from various programs and agreements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws regarding reporting, accounting, billing, and collection of contracts and grants.
• Oversee significant federal revenue operations.
• Provide technical guidance to accounting staff.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general ledger accounting and control/subsidiary account relationships.
• Knowledge of grants management laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to inspire and foster team commitment and cooperation.
• Experience in financial analysis and modeling.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
