About the position
UK HealthCare is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Associate Vice President (AVP)/Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This role is the senior-most revenue cycle executive responsible for strategy and operations across the revenue cycle within a multi-tiered Academic and Community Medical Center. The AVP/CRO will oversee all aspects of the enterprise-wide revenue cycle, including front, middle, and back-end processes for technical and professional services, ensuring effective management and optimization of revenue generation.
Responsibilities
- Provide visionary and strategic leadership for the revenue cycle operations.
- Oversee all aspects of the enterprise-wide revenue cycle, including Patient Financial Experience, Revenue Integrity, Utilization Review, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Coding, Billing, Denial Prevention and Management, Cash Management, Clinical Research Billing, Revenue Cycle Systems Applications, and Quality Assurance.
- Communicate and build strategic working relationships with staff, faculty, and other individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Manage fiscal and resource management effectively.
- Represent UK HealthCare positively and uphold University guidelines.
- Report to meetings at different locations both on campus and off campus.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business Administration or Management.
- 10 years of experience in a leadership role within an academic medical center or integrated delivery system.
- Hands-on experience in a successful Electronic Medical Record implementation.
- Experience managing substantial budgets ($40 million plus) and large teams (150 plus).
