About the position

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a key executive responsible for driving all revenue-generating functions within the organization. This role integrates sales, brand strategy, customer experience (CX), and business expansion efforts to ensure seamless alignment across departments and maximize growth. The CRO collaborates with senior leadership to establish and execute strategies that enhance customer acquisition, expansion, and overall market presence. The CRO will oversee home sales, broker utilization and a land acquisition team that fuels the company's growth, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence in these critical areas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals across all sales channels, including home sales through broker partnerships and land acquisition efforts.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive ambitious growth targets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement best practices for training, process and efficiency to scale and meet company objectives.
  • Oversee the sales process for completed home transactions and the strategic acquisition of land to support the company's growth trajectory.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, ensuring sustainable revenue streams.
  • Lead efforts to enter new markets, develop partnerships, and scale the business.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand product offerings, geographic presence, and land acquisition opportunities that fuel growth.
  • Ensure consistency in process, brand and customer experience.
  • Develop Brand strategy and collaborate on product offerings to deliver brand premium.
  • Ensure the brand's identity and messaging resonate across all customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to position the brand as a market leader.
  • Oversee brand initiatives that strengthen customer loyalty and differentiation.
  • Align CX strategies with revenue objectives to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with CX teams to identify and resolve pain points, driving long-term customer loyalty.
  • Use customer feedback and insights to inform growth strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform expansion decisions.
  • Foster collaboration across sales, marketing, customer experience, and brand teams.
  • Ensure all teams are aligned toward unified revenue, sales, and customer growth goals.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the CEO on revenue, sales, and growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree or in a relevant field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, marketing, and revenue-related roles.
  • Proven success in managing and aligning multiple revenue-generating teams (e.g., sales, marketing, customer success).
  • Ability to develop and execute a clear, long-term revenue strategy aligned with the luxury homebuilding market, focusing on both sales' growth and brand positioning.
  • Expertise in the unique preferences, motivations, and buying behaviors of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs).
  • Proven track record in leading high-performing sales teams, setting ambitious yet achievable goals, and fostering a results-driven culture.
  • Track record of designing and deploying best practices around process, training and efficiency.
  • Strong sense of how to maintain and elevate the brand's exclusivity and prestige, ensuring consistency in messaging, customer experience, and market presence.
  • Exceptional focus on understanding and addressing customer needs, delivering a bespoke, white-glove experience throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Strong network of industry connections with architects, interior designers, real estate agents, and other professionals who cater to luxury clientele.
  • Expertise in luxury branding and digital marketing strategies, including influencer partnerships, high-end events, and leveraging social media to attract affluent buyers.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, buyer insights, and sales performance metrics to optimize strategies and allocate resources effectively.
  • Works seamlessly across departments (e.g., design, construction, and marketing) to align goals and create a cohesive customer experience.
  • Capable of responding quickly to market shifts, changes in consumer preferences, or competitive challenges in the high-stakes luxury space.
  • Understands the value of personalization in the luxury market and ensures the company delivers tailored solutions to meet each client's needs.
  • Strong focus on achieving measurable revenue growth while maintaining the integrity of the brand and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Commanding yet approachable demeanor that inspires confidence in employees, partners, and clients, essential for representing the brand at high-profile events or negotiations.
