About the position

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at CBTS Technology Solutions LLC will spearhead all revenue-generating initiatives, aligning various departments such as sales, marketing, customer success, and revenue operations to foster growth. This role is pivotal in developing and executing a comprehensive revenue strategy, optimizing customer lifecycle processes, and building long-term relationships with customers and partners to enhance revenue expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue growth strategy to meet company goals and support business scalability.
  • Set revenue targets and create forecasts based on market research, data analytics, and competitive analysis.
  • Design performance metrics and KPIs to track revenue growth and profitability, providing regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Lead, manage, and scale a high-performance sales team, including setting performance expectations, providing mentorship, and facilitating professional development.
  • Establish a scalable sales process, ensuring CRM utilization and sales enablement initiatives are optimized.
  • Partner with product and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new products, ensuring rapid market penetration and alignment with customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and pipeline development through digital marketing and demand generation strategies.
  • Work with product development to align product offerings with market demands, customer feedback, and emerging industry trends.
  • Partner with customer success teams to maximize customer retention, optimize upsell/cross-sell strategies, and increase customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Leverage data analytics to gain insights into sales performance, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and revenue trends.
  • Create and manage dynamic pricing models that align with competitive pricing, market trends, and revenue optimization.
  • Continuously monitor KPIs such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), and monthly recurring revenue (MRR) to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer needs are met and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Develop customer-centric sales processes that address unique client pain points while enhancing the customer experience.
  • Integrate customer feedback mechanisms to refine product offerings and identify potential areas of improvement in the revenue process.
  • Oversee revenue operations, including streamlining tools and processes for lead generation, pipeline management, and post-sales activities.
  • Ensure a high level of operational efficiency in areas like CRM management, revenue cycle optimization, and sales forecasting.
  • Implement best practices in revenue operations to maximize efficiency and support rapid growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, revenue operations, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior revenue leadership role within the IT or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a technology or IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, customer success, and sales strategy.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making with the ability to interpret complex analytics.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), revenue analytics tools, and revenue performance metrics.
