About the position

As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at E.A. Sween Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth and strategic initiatives. Since 1955, E.A. The CRO will be responsible for leading company-wide activities and strategies aimed at generating, maintaining, and increasing revenue. This position requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about integrating and aligning various functions across the organization, including Marketing, Sales, Product Innovation, and Customer Service, to achieve revenue targets and grow demand for our products and services. In collaboration with the executive leadership team, the CRO will execute the corporate strategic plan, focusing on expanding customer segments and business partnerships. You will be instrumental in creating a sales-driven strategic plan that generates diverse revenue streams. Your responsibilities will include developing the overall sales strategy to maximize revenue and profitability, increasing sales volumes, market share, and customer acquisition while efficiently managing resources and costs for sustainable growth. You will also lead the Strategic Accountability Committee and present to the E.A. Sween Board of Directors as needed. The role requires establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and foster long-term partnerships. You will analyze the business environment, identify competitors, and innovate new products in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will monitor the revenue pipeline, adjust strategies as necessary, and leverage data and technology to enhance sales performance. The CRO will oversee the development of effective pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and brand strategies to differentiate our products in a competitive marketplace. You will also invest in research and development to create innovative products that meet evolving consumer preferences and build effective teams through recruiting, mentoring, and development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the overall sales strategy focused on maximizing revenue and profitability through proactive generation and conversion of sales opportunities.
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to execute the corporate strategic plan and develop additional plans to ensure profitable revenue streams.
  • Lead the Strategic Accountability Committee and present to the E.A. Sween Board of Directors as needed.
  • Create capabilities to analyze the business environment, identify competitors, and retain and expand the customer base.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Source, gather, and review data for revenue forecasting, KPIs, risk mitigation, and budgets.
  • Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth.
  • Use data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
  • Develop effective and data-driven pricing strategies to ensure appropriate target profits.
  • Oversee the build-out of strong brands and effective marketing campaigns to differentiate products in a crowded marketplace.
  • Lead research to identify internal and external opportunities to expand and optimize revenue-producing activities.
  • Continuously evolve the company's brand strategy in response to market trends and creative opportunities.
  • Leverage customer insights and research to provide strategic leadership for brand architecture and positioning.
  • Invest in research and development to create innovative products or improve existing ones.
  • Build effective teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 15+ years of demonstrated experience growing revenue through new-product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships.
  • Food Industry and/or Manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent leadership & management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving annual revenue and growth objectives.
  • Experience establishing, leading, communicating, and executing strategic business plans.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and gain alignment between parties, while achieving business results and creating win-win outcomes.
  • Proven experience building effective teams that drove profitable revenue growth.
  • Experienced leader who leads with passion, committed to people development, and fosters a culture of diversity, belonging, and inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
