About the position

Syniverse is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and customer-focused Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead all revenue-generating functions across the business. This executive will oversee global Sales, Sales Support, Marketing, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Account Management, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CRO will be responsible for building and executing an integrated revenue strategy, driving cross-functional alignment, and delivering sustainable growth. This role is highly visible, influential, and instrumental to Syniverse's long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and align global revenue-driving functions to achieve company growth and profitability targets
  • Own all revenue streams, including new customer acquisition, expansion, and retention
  • Champion a customer-first approach across all go-to-market efforts
  • Drive collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Use data and analytics to inform strategy, define KPIs, optimize campaigns, and guide decision-making
  • Elevate Syniverse's brand and public presence through strategic marketing and communications
  • Identify new market opportunities and adjust strategy based on customer and competitive insights
  • Build and scale high-performing teams with a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation

Requirements

  • 20+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 10+ years in senior-level sales, marketing, or revenue-focused roles
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth across global markets and multiple business lines
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional teams with full P&L ownership
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, and performance measurement
  • Strong data orientation and comfort making analytics-driven decisions
  • Exceptional communicator with board-level presence and the ability to influence across stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
