About the position

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will lead the revenue functions of a cutting-edge AI platform that monitors critical global events. This remote position requires a strategic leader with a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, particularly within SaaS business models. The CRO will drive revenue growth, refine sales operations, and enhance customer success strategies while fostering a high-performance culture within the revenue teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and own the GTM team.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on results by coaching the sales and revenue teams.
  • Develop standards and best practices to boost sales productivity.
  • Build and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting enterprise and public sector clients.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and work with the team to firm up forecasts and projections.
  • Work with the marketing team to enable sales with leads and enablement.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, finance, operations, and customer success teams to align efforts and enhance customer experience.
  • Utilize analytics and reporting tools to track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and make informed business decisions.
  • Develop and manage the revenue budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in North America and European markets.
  • Present sales and revenue progress to the board.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in founding, scaling, or growing companies from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, launch products, and drive revenue through insights and efforts.
  • Genuine passion for building and growing businesses, with a focus on collaboration and detail-oriented work.
  • Customer-focused with a field-oriented approach, engaging directly with customers and prospects.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous testing, learning, and adapting in strategies.
