About the position

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Jellyvision will lead the revenue organization, which includes Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Revenue Operations. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, evolving the company's offerings from a single product to a comprehensive platform, and ensuring effective collaboration among various stakeholders. The CRO will be responsible for developing and executing Jellyvision's go-to-market strategy, optimizing revenue generation, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategies for growth and open new paths to revenue.
  • Direct leaders to source new opportunities efficiently.
  • Oversee customer onboarding with a focus on maximizing revenue and customer success.
  • Guide the organization in designing and implementing annual targets and talent strategies.
  • Help find, retain, coach, and grow a team of strategic revenue leaders.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Optimize the go-to-market strategy in partnership with the SVP of Marketing.
  • Use data and intuition to anticipate and remove blockers to success.
  • Assess and integrate potential acquisitions.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience leading Revenue organizations (sales, sales development, and account management).
  • 10+ years experience in both SaaS and healthcare/benefits technology sales.
  • Experience in growth stage tech companies with partially distributed workforces.
  • Experience with integrating acquisitions is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a relatable manner.
  • Experience expanding customer relationships to senior stakeholders, especially CHRO and CFO buyers.
  • Experience in industries where third-party funding and channel influence are significant.
  • Ability to lead with trust and benefit of the doubt.
  • Forward-looking approach with resilience.
  • A sense of humor to enhance engagement and sales.
  • Experience with forecasting across multiple channels.
  • Experience with creative monetization approaches.
