About the position

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Replate is a pivotal role focused on transforming the organization's revenue-generating capabilities. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive revenue strategy aimed at doubling earned revenue and enhancing financial sustainability. The CRO will lead a small sales team, drive business development efforts, and collaborate with various departments to align sales initiatives with Replate's mission of reducing food waste and combating food insecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-channel revenue strategy including sales, partnerships, and other revenue streams.
  • Create scalable, repeatable processes for revenue generation and build new revenue channels aligned with Replate's mission.
  • Set ambitious revenue targets and create actionable plans to achieve them.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to maximize synergy across departments.
  • Lead and mentor a sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue.
  • Implement initiatives to double earned revenue in the first year and monitor sales metrics.
  • Report on sales performance to the executive team and optimize the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of doubling revenue or achieving significant sales growth.
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
