About the position

The Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) is a visionary leader responsible for driving the technological and innovative ambitions of the company. This role involves developing and executing a forward-looking technology strategy that aligns with business objectives, fostering a culture of innovation, overseeing the integration of new technologies, and collaborating with other executives to ensure seamless execution of innovation initiatives. The CTIO will also mentor a team of technologists and ensure that all innovations are secure and compliant with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a technology and innovation strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation across the company, encouraging creative thinking and new ideas.
  • Oversee the integration of new technologies into operations to enhance efficiency and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with other C-level executives to align technology initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Drive the development of new products and services leveraging emerging technologies.
  • Lead and inspire a team of technologists, engineers, and innovators, mentoring them to grow their skills.
  • Ensure that all technological innovations are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to think creatively and strategically with a passion for exploring new technologies.
  • Extensive experience with modern technologies, including AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and data analytics.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and inspiring innovation and collaboration.
  • Ability to align technology and innovation strategies with business goals.
  • Exceptional ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A good sense of humor.

  • Certifications in innovation management, Agile, or relevant emerging technologies.
