About the position

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the technology strategy and operations of the company, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving innovation. This role involves managing technology teams, overseeing IT project implementations, and collaborating with OEM partners to deliver high-quality solutions, particularly in the Energy & Utility, Public Sector, and Healthcare industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy to support business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the design, delivery, and scalability of COTS solutions (Commercial Off-the-Shelf).
  • Collaborate with OEM partners, including SAS Institute, Hyland, AWS Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Azure, to drive strategic initiatives and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Oversee technology integration and manage IT project implementations across the Energy & Utility, Public Sector, and Healthcare sectors.
  • Promote the use of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and ensure best practices in project management.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC2 and other industry standards, maintaining robust security protocols across all platforms.
  • Advise the executive team on emerging technologies and trends that could impact business growth and operations.
  • Lead efforts in cloud migration, CRM optimization, and data management strategies.
  • Oversee internal IT operations, including technical support for call centers and compliance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a CTO or in an executive-level position.
  • Proven expertise in the Energy & Utility, Public Sector, and Healthcare industries.
  • Strong knowledge of COTS solutions, cloud platforms, CRM systems, and data management.
  • Experience working with OEM partners such as SAS Institute, Hyland, AWS Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean Six Sigma and other project management methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster innovation and drive change in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of PMO (Project Management Office) functions.
  • Solid background in data management practices.
