About the position

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Customer Unit T-Mobile at Ericsson will lead the long-term network strategy and oversee technology engagements to drive innovation and transformation in collaboration with T-Mobile. This role involves managing a team of technical professionals, defining strategic priorities, and ensuring the successful deployment and lifecycle management of technology solutions. The CTO will play a critical role in shaping the future of intelligent networks and enhancing the customer experience through advanced technology offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Define MANA CU T-Mobile's long-term network strategy including RAN and Cloud and SW Services.
  • Lead end-to-end network transformation programs in collaboration with T-Mobile.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Plan and Sales Strategy aligned with CU's sales goals.
  • Oversee technology-related engagements across Ericsson Business Areas and manage deployment and lifecycle.
  • Build, grow, and develop talent who are experts in their field.
  • Collaborate closely with T-Mobile and Business Areas to drive innovation and automation.
  • Embed Ericsson on the Move's focus areas within the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading large-scale network transformation projects.
  • Strong background in Cloud RAN, O-RAN, 5G SA core, and cloud-native technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of 4G and 5G networks and related technologies.
  • Experience in collaborating with external partners and vendors.
  • Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Understanding of sustainability-centered technology offerings.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred) in relevant science or engineering with minimum of 10 years in the technology industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading in a matrix environment.
