About the position

The Chief Technology Officer, Infrastructure at BayCare is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of infrastructure technologies, ensuring operational excellence, audit readiness, and security for the enterprise infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage teams and drive continuous improvement while innovating and transforming the IT landscape within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic direction of infrastructure hardware and software technologies.
• Manage clinical engineering operations and governance to ensure operational excellence.
• Ensure audit readiness and security/service excellence for the enterprise infrastructure.
• Lead teams in areas such as systems/servers, telephony, networking, and storage technology.
• Dispense and manage IT services and processes as an ITIL practitioner.
• Support IT services securely with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and technologies.
• Run an enterprise data center with knowledge of energy-efficient practices and backup systems.
• Manage IS service desk operations with a focus on excellent customer service and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum five years of management/leadership experience in Infrastructure is required.
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
