About the position

As a CTO of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), you will be pivotal in driving innovation, technical leadership, and strategic vision within the company. You will work closely with our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and senior leadership to guide the development of cutting-edge technologies, products, and solutions in the field of PPE. You will report directly to our Chief Technology Officer and you will work out of our Charlotte, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving innovation, fostering technical excellence, and shaping the long-term technical strategy of Honeywell's PPE division. By providing expert guidance, mentoring engineering teams, and leading cutting-edge research and development efforts, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Honeywell remains at the forefront of technology and engineering in the PPE industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, influencing product development and innovation in the field of PPE.
  • Work with the CTO and executive leadership to shape the long-term technical strategy, setting the direction for Honeywell's PPE initiatives.
  • Assess technical risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for mitigating risks and seizing opportunities in the PPE market.
  • Develop technology roadmaps in alignment with business objectives and market demands in the PPE industry.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their potential impact on Honeywell's PPE business, making recommendations for integration or investment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of engineering experience
  • Minimum 5 years of leading New Product Introduction initiatives
  • Minimum 5 years of people management
