About the position

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will oversee the entire technology landscape of the company, driving innovation and setting technical strategies. This role involves leading a team of over 60 IT and technology professionals to execute cutting-edge solutions while aligning technology initiatives with business goals to ensure scalability, security, and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a forward-looking technology roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of developers, engineers, and IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation and technology initiatives to create differentiated products and services.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to ensure technological feasibility and timelines for product launches.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, department heads, and external partners to ensure technology solutions align with business needs.
  • Manage the technology budget, optimizing investments in technology tools, resources, and infrastructure.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring business continuity and cybersecurity.
  • Oversee the selection and management of technology vendors and solutions to meet current and future business demands.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
  • Strong understanding of current technology trends and practices, including cloud computing, big data, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and DevOps.
  • Ability to translate complex technological challenges into business solutions, focusing on growth, innovation, and competitive differentiation.
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving, able to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; able to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for executive stakeholders and customers.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and data protection strategies; experience with compliance and regulatory standards.
