About the position

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Quanterix is a pivotal role focused on innovating and developing new technologies within a laboratory environment. This position requires a hands-on leader who can inspire teams, strategize technology roadmaps, and drive the commercialization of new products. The CTO will play a crucial role in advancing the company's mission to revolutionize biomarker analysis and improve precision health through cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop new technologies, being hands-on in the lab.
• Inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Develop technology roadmap and platforms synergistic to existing ultra-sensitive SIMOA technology.
• Represent the company at various technology meetings and conferences.
• Act as a technical advisor on inorganic opportunities.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Experience developing concepts and building them into commercial products.
• Life Science tools industry experience.
• Track record of innovative and impactful research.
