About the position

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) position is a pivotal leadership role at Lake City Bank, responsible for overseeing all facets of the bank's technology and information systems. The CTO plays a crucial role in communicating and executing the company's technological vision, ensuring that technology strategies are effectively implemented, and that resources are aligned with the business needs of the organization. This position requires a collaborative approach, as the CTO will work closely with senior leaders across the bank to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth. In this role, the CTO will direct and manage several key teams, including Technology Services, Information Security, User Access, and Vendor Management. These teams collectively consist of approximately 26 individuals, and the CTO will be responsible for their development, coaching, and professional advancement. This leadership role not only requires technical expertise but also strong interpersonal skills to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology teams. The CTO will be expected to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that Lake City Bank remains competitive in the rapidly evolving financial services landscape.

Responsibilities
