About the position

The role is accountable for directing the information and data integrity of the enterprise and its groups, overseeing all Information Technology functions of the Bank. This includes managing data centers, technical services, operation production scheduling, help desk, communication networks, and computer program development. The position involves providing leadership in IT operations, developing strategic technology plans, and ensuring compliance with governance standards as the enterprise grows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and direct short and long-term IT strategic technology plans, architecture, standards, policies, and procedures for IT Management and governance.
  • Determine the Bank's long-term systems needs and hardware acquisitions to meet business objectives.
  • Serve as a member of the IT Steering Committee and provide quarterly IT reports to the Board.
  • Chair the Bank's Project Review Board.
  • Identify and integrate emerging information technologies within the organization.
  • Lead and implement strategic initiatives, selecting software and hardware, and evaluating vendors for compatibility and compliance.
  • Manage the implementation of technology to increase information accessibility and integrated systems management.
  • Drive analysis and re-engineering of existing business processes and develop new technologies to expand capabilities.
  • Plan, forecast, and oversee the overall IT Operating Budget and IT Capital Budget.
  • Develop and maintain the Bank's Information Technology's Enterprise Security and Disaster Recovery Program.
  • Develop annual technology plans and budgets for LANs, WANs, and PC systems.
  • Supervise and manage the selection, training, and development of staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years of related experience in a progressively responsible corporate management position.
  • Strong background in the Information Technology field with prior experience managing a department or functional area.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding work ethic with a high energy work style.
  • Proven expertise in business and technical facets, with in-depth knowledge of current and emerging information technologies, hardware, software, and data security issues.
  • Three years of experience as a senior level manager in a large multifaceted technology organization.
  • Effective project management experience and ability to develop and execute large-scale plans and projects.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, with the vision to establish priorities and motivate staff.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or focused education in Business Administration is desirable.
