About the position

Serena & Lily is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their executive team. The CTO will be responsible for developing and implementing a technology strategy that aligns with the company's business goals. This role is crucial for leveraging technology to drive organizational success and will oversee a diverse technology division comprising eCommerce, back-end systems, data analytics, and technology operations.

Responsibilities

  • Empower strategic business growth through technology roadmap development and execution.
  • Leverage omni channel retail expertise to align technology initiatives with business needs.
  • Serve as the primary interface for stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across teams.
  • Establish and uphold technology standards across all platforms for quality, agility, and performance.
  • Provide strong leadership to the Technology team, fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Oversee departmental budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with effective solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for influencing and leading at all levels.
  • Broad knowledge of operations and processes to align technology solutions with business needs.
  • Strong grasp of application architectures and development processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of omni channel retail operations.
  • Extensive experience in digital security and fraud prevention.
  • Solid understanding of networking, desktop operations, and telecommunications.
  • Proven experience in negotiating software and development resource contracts.
  • A four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred; an advanced degree is a plus.
