We are now an international team of 70+ and have 40M+ monthly active users. Backed by Voodoo, our team is fully focused on scaling BeReal into an iconic social network used by hundreds of millions. We are seeking a visionary and strategic CTO to serve as the primary point of contact for all technical and data-related matters. In this role, you will drive our technology and data strategy at the highest level, ensuring scalability, architectural integrity, and excellence in our complex Data Science initiatives.

Responsibilities

Acting as the main technical and data liaison, overseeing all technology and data-driven strategies.
Scaling and leading our technology and data teams while maintaining highest quality standards.
Defining and architecting a robust, scalable system infrastructure to support rapid growth and global expansion.
Driving complex Data Science projects, including the development and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning models.
Collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to innovate and deliver high-impact solutions.
Ensuring compliance with data privacy, security standards, and best practices across the organization.
Mentoring and inspiring a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and technical professionals.
Communicating the technology vision to stakeholders and aligning technical strategies with business goals.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in senior technology leadership roles, with deep expertise in both engineering and data science.
Proven ability to scale and manage teams while upholding high standards of quality and excellence.
Extensive experience in system architecture design and managing complex projects.
Strong leadership skills with a talent for bridging technical, product, and business perspectives.
Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
Comprehensive knowledge of data privacy regulations and security standards.
A strategic, innovative thinker with a passion for driving technical excellence.
