About the position

LMI is seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead technology initiatives across the Health & Civilian Sector. The CTO will be responsible for aligning technology resources with organizational goals, driving solutions that meet client needs, and overseeing the implementation of technology strategies. This role requires a strong leader who can translate complex technical topics into actionable narratives and collaborate effectively within a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive solutions across the Health & Civilian Sector, providing enterprise capabilities that quickly react to the mission needs of our clients
  • Lead the identification and translation of our clients' digital needs for each of our core business areas
  • Stay educated on emerging technologies
  • Present reports on the company's technology status, goals, and progress
  • Create and oversee implementation of technology solutions and strategies
  • Align the company's technology resources with the organization's short- and long-term goals
  • Serve on the executive committee to align technology goals to other departmental and organizational objectives
  • Identify what technologies can be used to improve the company's products and services

Requirements

  • The ability to drive teams in complex solution development
  • Ability to translate highly complex or technical topics into tangible, relatable and actionable narratives for decision-making
  • Demonstrated expertise in building business cases, solutions, developing proposal artifacts
  • Strong ability to collaborate to get things done in a matrix organization

  • Knowledge of all functions and roles within IT

  • Minimum 10 years' experience working in the govcon/IT market, specifically within the health & civilian markets
  • Experience developing IT strategies and solutions specifically for clients such as VA, DHA, CMS, GSA, and USDA
  • Bachelors degree in applicable field required, advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation
