About the position
Lamoille Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and experienced Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our dedicated team. You will work with children and adolescents, providing therapeutic interventions to address a range of mental health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Family Therapy.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the child's treatment plan.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensed or license-eligible as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or similar.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with children and adolescents.
- Knowledge of child development and family systems.
