About the position

Illuminate Therapy & Wellness is seeking a full-time Child and Teen Psychotherapist to provide quality mental health counseling to children, teens, and their families. The role involves utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, conducting diagnostic assessments, and formulating treatment plans. The ideal candidate will work in a supportive environment that values holistic health and offers opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to diverse clientele including children and teens.
• Complete electronic notes and current treatment plans as required.
• Formulate DSM 5 diagnoses for clients.
• Schedule ongoing psychotherapy sessions with clients.
• Manage clinical emergencies with support from the clinical team.
• Consult and collaborate with other providers, psychiatrists, and family members as appropriate.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing events as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current State of Illinois license as LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in private practice is a plus but not required.
• Good computer skills for charting and teletherapy platforms.
• Organized, professional, conscientious, punctual, and dependable.
