About the position

The Child and Teen Psychotherapist position at Illuminate Therapy & Wellness involves providing quality mental health counseling to children, teens, and their families in a supportive group practice environment. Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to diverse clientele
• Complete electronic notes and current treatment plans as delineated on contract
• Formulate DSM 5 diagnoses
• Schedule clients for ongoing psychotherapy sessions
• Manage client's clinical emergencies with support from the clinical team
• Consult and collaborate with other providers, psychiatrists, and family members when appropriate
• Participate in community outreach and marketing events as needed

Requirements

• Current State of Illinois license as a LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
• Good computer skills for charting and teletherapy platforms
• Organized, professional, conscientious, punctual, and dependable
• Availability to work a minimum of one weekend day and two evenings per week
• Experience working with children and teens
