About the position

The Child Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves managing staff, developing curriculum, and maintaining compliance with state regulations, with a focus on providing high-quality educational experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the child care program, ensuring high-quality educational experiences for children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning and development.
• Supervise and support staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community to foster positive relationships.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make improvements based on feedback and assessments.
• Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education administration or related field.
• Experience working with students in various capacities.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide a diverse team of educators.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and staff.
• Knowledge of education administration principles to effectively manage operations.
